Why another blog?
Does it still make sense to start a blog in a world where most people would rather scroll through TikTok, watch Reels, or click on another list titled “10 Free Things to Do in Barcelona”?
I think it does.
Not because the world needs another travel blog.
Not because Barcelona needs another guide.
And certainly not because the internet is short of opinions.
I’m starting this blog because some stories simply don’t fit into a 30-second video.
Life between two countries doesn’t happen in highlights. It happens while waiting for an airport bus after landing at El Prat. While trying to understand why a parcel locker appears next to a petrol station in the middle of nowhere. While spending months looking for a home that feels right. Over coffee, grocery shopping, libraries, long walks, conversations, and ordinary days that quietly become extraordinary.
This isn’t a guide to Spain.
It’s not an expat diary either.
It’s a collection of essays about everyday life, travel, culture, food, work, and the strange feeling of slowly discovering that home is no longer a single place.
Sometimes the stories will be funny.
Sometimes personal.
Sometimes they’ll begin with something completely insignificant—a supermarket, a train station, or a parcel locker—and end somewhere entirely unexpected.
If you’ve found your way here, welcome.
I hope you’ll stay for a while.
